Whether you want to update your credentials for better security or you’ve simply forgotten your current login info, Perfect HOA makes it easy to reset your password. You can manage this either from within your account settings or from the login screen.
If You Are Already Logged In
If you know your current password but want to change it for security reasons:
- Go to Manage Profile: Click on your name or profile icon in the top right corner of the dashboard, then click Manage Profile.
- Select Security: Navigate to the Security section within your profile settings, then click “Change Password”.
- Update Password: You will be prompted to enter your Current Password, followed by your New Password.
- Save: Click “Update” to finalize the change.
If You Forgot Your Password
If you are locked out and cannot log in:
- Visit the Login Page: Go to the Perfect HOA login page.
- Click “Forgot password?”: This link is located just below the login fields.
- Enter Your Email: Provide the email address associated with your account.
- Check Your Email: You will receive a password reset link shortly. Click the link in that email to choose a new password.
Password Security Best Practices
To keep your community data safe, keep these tips in mind when choosing a new password:
- Length Matters: Use at least 12 characters.
- Mix It Up: Use a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols ($$!@#%^&*$$).
- Be Unique: Avoid using the same password you use for your email or banking.
- Avoid Personal Info: Do not use your name, address, or birthdate in your password.
